LISTENING BUILDS TRUST.
TRUST BUILDS RESULTS.
Empowerment happens
when knowledge is shared, not withheld.
A Slower More Considered Approach
In our world where speed and instant gratification is often celebrated, nurturing requires a
different approach through empowering people with the time to process, consider and act
when they9re ready - not when the market dictates or agent suggests they should. This
might also mean an agent checks in, without expectation, or makes themself available to
answer questions, long before a decision is made.
Sometimes nurturing means holding someone9s hand through every step and other times
quietly cheering in the background. Showing up for them with patience and presence,
supporting and respecting a client is key. The adage of do unto others what you would
have done to you goes a long way in real estate.
Continuing connection and nurturing the relationship through genuine interest and care
builds a network of clients who form a community of people who know they’re supported
every step of the way. This is not a one-edged sword and often works both ways with many
of the best insights coming from listening to clients who’ve walked the road and want to
share their perspective and experiences.
I always view clients as if they were a member of my family – how would I want them to be
treated and made feel ie cared for, heard, understood, respected, valued and safe.
These are some of the ways in which I nurture my clients and potential clients when I am
working, it is something they remember about me long after 8the deal is done9.
