Those five words have become my compass.
Because I now know — I’m closer to the end of my time
than the beginning. That might sound confronting to
some, but to me, it’s liberating. It means every moment
counts. Every experience matters. And every fear I
overcome is a step back to myself.
The older I get, the more I’ve come to love the woman
I’ve become. Not because she’s perfect — but because
she’s real. She’s no longer trying to fit in. She’s
expanding into spaces she was once told weren’t
meant for her.
Expansion isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s
about becoming more of who you are. It’s allowing
yourself to take up space, to explore, to feel joy again —
even when the world tells you it's too late.
It’s not always comfortable. I’ve had bruises, bug bites,
sore muscles, and wobbly knees. I’ve also had laughter,
freedom, unforgettable memories, and that deep inner
glow that only comes from doing something just for
you.
